2026 is our 26th year of an animated Christmas lights display. The show opens on Tuesday, November 24, 2026 and runs nightly through Friday, January 1, 2027.
Outdoor construction starts November 6. This year we plan to capture a timelapse video of the construction, so check back to watch the display go up.
We’re adding three new songs this year, bringing the show to 31 songs and 86 minutes of music: Run Run Rudolph, Carol of the Bells (Epic Version), and Shake the Snow Globe. The 75,805 lights and the rest of the hardware carry over from 2025.
New behind the scenes this year is a car counter. Two cameras and AI object detection estimate how many cars are parked out front watching the show. It helps us understand attendance and traffic patterns, and it lets you check how busy we are before you head over. Our servers also grew to four virtual machines: three running our home Kubernetes cluster and one in the cloud hosting our public websites.
